I rarely feel nervous about my unreserved praise of Revive! I love it. I think it’s brilliant. And that’s not simply because I share responsibility for it! It’s because I’ve seen the value of Revive over the years. Year after year people come back having benefited. God in His kindness keeps using our weekend away to help people grow in their knowledge and love of Him. Spiritually people end up in a different place. We profit from hearing God speak. We love the opportunity to sing God’s praises as part of a large crowd. We value the chance to relax with others in our own congregation.

And so I want people to come to Revive because I’m convinced that the Lord will continue to use Revive for the benefit of His people. But, in all honesty, very little of what I write will influence anyone in your congregation to come. Those who’ve been before are best placed to tell you how God has used Revive in their own lives. So if you’re wondering about coming; talk to someone who’s been before. I know it’s hard to believe, but I do think that this year will be an improvement on last year. But let me stop there; I’m becoming a salesman!
