Christ Church Mayfair
Giving to
Christ Church Mayfair
Background
Christ Church Mayfair planted out of The Bible Talks in October 2004 as a family congregation serving South and West central London. We are an evangelical church with the Church of England committed to learning from the Bible, as we seek to actively love and serve Jesus Christ.
We rejoice at God's work amongst us as He has grown us in number, and in our knowledge and love of his son Jesus Christ. We are committed to loving God, loving one another and loving the lost, and seek to live-out those aims in every aspect of our church life together.
In our first year, we are grateful to God's gracious provision to us since planting, and for the support of both The Bible Talks and St Helen's Bishopsgate in prayer, in the provision of the building and financially.
The ongoing ministry is dependent upon the giving of the church family, and so we ask all member of the congregation to consider making some financial contribution - large or small.
2005/6 Budget
God-willing, 2005/6 will be Christ Church Mayfair's first year as a financially independent congregation. A breakdown of budgeted expenditure will appear here in due course.
Why Give?
a biblical perspective
A talk on Giving at Christ Church from 1 Chronicles 29:10-20 is available to download.
What next?
Take some time out to consider your personal finances – ask God how best you can support His work with the time, talents and money that He has given you.
Decide on an amount to give, and contact treasurer@christchurchmayfair.org for a gift aid form. (If you are a Uk taxpayer, this is a much more efficient way to give to the church which is a registered charity).
If you have any questions, or would like more information, please contact info@christchurchmayfair.org.uk, or speak to a member of staff.
