Book of the Year
This year we are focusing on what it means to be church. To Help us, our book of the term is "True Worship" by Vaughan Roberts. This book challenges us to worship God every day of the week, with all our heart, mind, soul and strength.
Copies are available from the church bookstall for £5.

Cooking for the Church Family
Opportunities regularly arise to cook for needy people in our church family.
Please contact Licia Becke if you would like to support people with one or two meals.
International Cafe
Every Friday, 7.00-10.30pm in church through the term time. Helpers are needed to support this growing ministry - e.g. - chatting to international guests - cooking simple meals, and serving tea/coffee. - giving short gospel talks - helping run English lessons Varied levels of commitment possible: from coming regularly on a Friday night and building relationships, to meeting up for coffee and speaking slow English. Or even a one off meal to be reheated.

A group for parents and pre-school children.
Thursdays 10.00 – 11.30am at Christ Church Mayfair, Down Street.

Then Live in London is an evening café designed for you!
We'd like to invite you for a relaxed evening to talk and get to know us, enjoy some tea and scones and some live music.
We'd love to see you there!

Enjoy free tea & coffee, traditional English scones and crumpets!
Live in London is hosted by Christians, but most guests are from another or no religion. Each evening includes a short talk in simple English introducing Christianity.
If you would like to come to the café please just come along. You would be very welcome!

When?
Live in London is an international café happening every night from Tuesday 26th August until Saturday 30th August 2008.
The café is open from 7.30pm until 10.30pm every night. Entry is free.
Please note:
Entry into the café is free, but limited to international visitors to London who have English as a second language.

The Wimbledon Pregnancy Resource Centre is now open, offering confidential counselling and support for women facing unplanned pregnancies, and their partners. Prayer
Third Wednesday of every month at 7.45pm, at Christ Church Mayfair.
Born from a conviction that we are dependent upon God for all that we have and do, we seek to put prayer at the centre of our life as a church that in all things the glory might go to God.
We meet together to pray at the church on the third Wednesday of every month at 7.45pm and finish by 9pm. All regular members of the congregation are encouraged to make the meeting a priority.
A monthly Prayer Diary is distributed at the Prayer Meeting, and available at Sunday morning meetings. If you would like to submit any prayer requests for the Prayer Diary, or be added to the e-mailing list, please contact prayer@christchurchmayfair.org
