ministry training strategy
This is a non-denominational ministry training strategy organised by a Committee led by David Jackman and including Richard Coekin and the Administrator Alison Barrett. It is named after Matthew 9:38
'Ask the Lord of the harvest therefore, to send our workers into his harvest field'.
9:38 is for people considering professional ministry as pastor-teachers, evangelists, church-planters and missionaries in the UK and abroad.
9:38 provides a network of like-minded friends eager to serve Christ, personal support and guidance from experienced evangelical ministers, regional events to inform and equip for various ministries and annual conferences for considering the requirements of gospel ministry. 9:38 also encourages the development of apprenticeship schemes such as our own which provide not just cheap employment but real training in Word ministry for those considering pursuing such ministry full-time.
