Fairfield Church :: Kingston
Prayer Meetings
1st Wednesday of every month | 8.00pm - 9.40pm
Convinced that we are dependent upon God for anything good that happens at Fairfield, we put prayer to God at the centre of all that we do. Once a month, on the first Wednesday, we replace our evening home groups with a central Prayer Meeting. Meetings are at Bedelsford School at 8pm and finish at 9.40pm. Each month we share bread and wine (“Communion” or “The Lord’s Supper”) to remember the death of Jesus Christ for us. We pray in adoration and thanks to God, we pray for projects we support outside the church, and we pray for our own church life.
We also encourage congregational members to join a “prayer triplet” or to meet regularly with a friend to pray together. Ideally these can be fitted into the week before work, before church or house group or by meeting up “in town” for lunch.
