Prayer
Lunchtime on the first Sunday of the month, Langthorne Street
The Bible makes clear that we are dependent upon God for all that we have and do. One of the joys and privileges of the Christian life is to be able to approach God as our Father - to praise Him for who He is, to thank Him for His kindness, to ask for His forgiveness where we do not treat him as God, and to bring to Him our needs and the needs of our 'neighbours'.
One way we can do that is to meet together specifically to pray.
We meet to pray monthly over Sunday lunch before going on to the church. All Christians within the regular congregation are encouraged to make the meeting - and prayer more widely - a priority.
A monthly Prayer Diary is distributed at the Prayer Meeting, and available at our Sunday meetings. If you would like to submit any prayer requests for the Prayer Diary, or be added to the distribution list, please contact info@emmanuelfulham.org
