Prayer Meetings
Every first Thursday of the month at 7.30-9.00pm in church
Born from a conviction that we are dependent upon God to prosper at The Bible Talks we put prayer at the centre of all that we do. We have a monthly prayer meeting that occurs on the 1st Thursday of every month. This happens instead of our regular midweek groups. We meet to pray at Christchurch at 7.30pm and finish at 9.00pm. It’s in this context that we commemorate the death of Jesus Christ and share the Lord’s Supper together.
We also encourage congregational members to join a triplet or to meet regularly with a friend to pray together. Ideally these can be fitted into the week before work, before church or ‘Knowing God’ or meeting up in ‘town’ for lunch.
