Weekends Away
Each term we provide an opportunity to get out of London, a time of relaxation, refreshment from God’s word and encouragement from one another.
Knowing God and Prepared To Serve groups go away in the autumn term; our church family goes away in the spring term; and the summer term culminates with Revive in Portsmouth.
The teaching on the autumn and spring term weekends aims to summarise major areas of Christian theology and provide a forum in which to relax and get to know one another. We stay in very comfortable venues in (or sometimes nearby) lovely countryside which enables us to go walking, play sport, or just sit in the sun. Recent topics for these weekends have included the resurrection, suffering and assurance of salvation.
